Swedish Dala Horses Giclée Print

From a region of Sweden called Dalarna, these quirky little wooden horses date back to the 17th century when they were carved by men working in the forest during long winter evenings and brought back to the village for children to play with. Now they are a traditional symbol of Sweden. I love their beautiful painted markings and so couldn’t resist making an illustration of them!
